The GWGs have been writing, performing, and recording together since 1995. Honored for their songwriting (including Kerrville New Folk and Songwriters Association of Washington), their music celebrates life, laughter, humanity, and hope. With two distinctive vocal styles, the duo trades off on leads, harmonies, and countermelodies, weaving together an intriguing tapestry of sound. They believe in the power of music to forge connection and meaning when words alone fall short. In addition to their original music, their live shows often include their own unique arrangements of songs written by their influences, including Indigo Girls, Nanci Griffith, and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
